Some teas are built for rarity. This one is built for richness.

Picked in the full warmth of the April spring, when the mountain has fully woken up.

That timing is everything.

Jinshan Red Aroma is a single-origin black tea harvested after Qingming — one bud, one leaf, hand-picked at the moment the spring flush reaches its peak. That extra leaf is not an afterthought. It is where the flavour lives.

The dry leaves curl into a deep, dark gold — what tea makers call wu jin, black gold. In the cup, the liquor pours a warm, luminous amber-red. The aroma opens with honey and roasted yam, rich and inviting. The taste follows: round, smooth, and full-bodied in a way that lingers well past the last sip. No bitterness. No astringency. Just a tea that rewards you for slowing down.

This gift box contains 40 individually wrapped portions, each holding exactly 5g — the precise amount for one full brewing session of 5–7 steeps. No scale needed, no guesswork. Just open one sachet, add water, and brew. Every cup comes out right.

The Details

  • Origin: Daba Mountains, Sichuan, China — 850 meters elevation
  • Harvest: Post-Qingming (mid-to-late April), one bud + one leaf
  • Processing: Traditional Gongfu black tea craftsmanship
  • Certification: EU Organic Certified
  • Liquor: Warm amber-red
  • Flavour: Honey sweetness, roasted yam warmth, rich and full-bodied finish
  • Net Weight: 200g — 40 individually wrapped sachets × 5g each

How to Brew

Use one 5g sachet per 150ml of water at 90–95°C (195–203°F).
First rinse: 3–5 seconds. Second infusion: 30–45 seconds.
Add 10–15 seconds for each subsequent steep. Yields 5–7 steeps per sachet.
Best enjoyed in a white porcelain gaiwan or glass cup — so you can watch the amber-red liquor unfold.

Storage
