Every spring, there is a window of about ten days.
Before Qingming. Before the rains come. Before the buds open.
That is the only time we pick Jinshan Red Gold.
Jinshan Red Gold is built on a single number: 30,000.
That’s how many individual fresh buds it takes to produce just 500 grams of finished tea. Each bud is taken alone — no leaf attached — during a harvest window that opens and closes in under two weeks each April. One skilled picker selects around 18,000 buds in a day — yielding just 300 grams of dry tea. It is slow, precise work, and there is no shortcut for it.
The result is a black tea with golden tips that catch the light — a visual signature of single-bud craftsmanship. In the cup: a clear, golden-amber liquor with a natural sweetness that arrives before you expect it. Honey warmth, a whisper of roasted yam, and underneath it all, a faint orchid note that lingers long after the last sip. No bitterness. No astringency. Just depth, in layers.
This gift box contains 40 individually wrapped portions, each holding exactly 5g — the precise amount for one full brewing session of 5–7 steeps. No scale needed, no guesswork. Just open one sachet, add water, and brew. Whether you’re new to gongfu tea or a seasoned drinker, every cup comes out right.
