Every spring, there is a window of about ten days.

Before Qingming. Before the rains come. Before the buds open.

That is the only time we pick Jinshan Red Gold.

Jinshan Red Gold is a single-bud black tea from the Daba Mountains of Sichuan — harvested during a window that opens and closes in under two weeks each April. Each bud is hand-picked alone, no leaf attached. One skilled picker selects around 18,000 buds in a day, yielding just 300 grams of dry tea. It is slow, precise work, and there is no shortcut for it.

The result is a black tea with golden tips that catch the light — a visual signature of single-bud craftsmanship. In the cup: a clear, golden-amber liquor with a natural sweetness that arrives before you expect it. Honey warmth, a whisper of roasted yam, and underneath it all, a faint orchid note that lingers long after the last sip. No bitterness. No astringency. Just depth, in layers.

This pouch contains 20 individually wrapped sachets, each holding exactly 5g — the precise amount for one full brewing session of 5–7 steeps. Lightweight, resealable, and ready to go wherever you do. Your desk, your bag, your hotel room. No scale, no fuss — just open one sachet and brew.
